When you shop on FarmTab, you always see the full price upfront before checkout.

Food & products

Set by farm

The cost of the food is set entirely by the farm. FarmTab does not add a markup to product prices.

Service fee

$1.99 per order

A small platform service fee is added at checkout to cover payment processing and order management infrastructure.

DoorDash delivery

$7+ plus tip

Delivery starts at $7 for the first 5 miles, available up to 15 miles from the farm. Pickup orders have no delivery fee.

CSA Scheduler

$7.99 per order

Customers pay a one-time payment for their CSA Schedule instead of paying an additional fee per distribution.

There are no hidden platform fees added at checkout beyond what is displayed. The full cost and any applicable fees are always shown before you confirm your order.

How CSA and subscription pricing works

If you join a farm share, pricing is set by the farm and may be structured in a few different ways.

Weekly or seasonal subscription pricing
Upfront seasonal payment options
Installment payment plans (when offered by the farm)
Automatic billing based on the farm's schedule
No additional subscription fees from FarmTab beyond what the farm sets

Free

It's free to create your farm profile and list your products. You only pay a service fee once customers start placing orders.

Payment processing

Via Stripe

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Standard Stripe processing fees apply. Payouts are deposited to your Stripe account on a scheduled basis.

Delivery fees

How delivery fees work

Delivery costs are always shown before checkout. No surprises.

DoorDash delivery

Starts at $7 for the first 5 miles. Available up to 15 miles from the farm. Pricing is set by DoorDash and shown to customers at checkout. Tip is optional but encouraged.

Farm-managed delivery

Some farms handle their own delivery. In these cases, the delivery fee is set directly by the farm and shown before checkout.

Pickup orders

Pickup at a farm-designated location has no delivery fee. It's often the most cost-effective option for customers.

Each farm manages their own fulfillment policies. Here's a general overview.

Missing or incorrect orders

Reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact the farm directly through your order details, or reach out to FarmTab support.

Subscription skips or pauses

Depends on the farm's settings. Many farms allow skips, holds, or substitutions for CSA deliveries. Check your account or the farm's profile for options.

Refund processing

If a refund is issued, it is processed back through the original payment method. FarmTab provides support tools, but farms remain responsible for their own fulfillment policies.
